Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Dr. Robert Chickara is a chiropractic physician with a diverse background. After receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in December 2001, he soon joined forces with a team of medical doctors and physical therapists in a multi-specialty rehabilitation clinic in Scarsdale, NY. The experience he gained in the following five years in developing a patient-centered, comprehensive treatment approach to the knowledge acquired in the complete management of a multi-disciplinary health care office, enabled him to establish his own practice in Freehold, NJ.
Dr. Chickara maintains a practice environment where multiple specialists work together to provide the highest quality patient care. He is a NJ board certified nerve conduction study specialist with an additional certification in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA). Dr. Chickara demonstrates the utmost professionalism in practicing Chiropractic while maintaining a personable and individual relationship with every one of his patients. He is a proud resident of Freehold Township and dedicated to the people of Monmouth County.

Maria Sheila Rasonabe is a board certified physical therapist. After extensive studying and training in the Philippines, she received a five year bachelor’s degree in health sciences and physical therapy. Licensed in New Jersey since 2001, Sheila has been practicing for nine years and has developed a vast knowledge in all aspects of physical therapy and beyond. She has worked in many specialized out- patient therapy settings, gaining a wide array of skill in successfully rehabilitating several musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
Sheila’s strengths lie in her hands and the manual therapy techniques she incorporates into each individual treatment plan. She specializes in myofascial release and massage protocols, core stability training, and Kinesio taping.
She strives to broaden her knowledge with extended training and continuing-education programs, remaining current with new techniques and technology. As a licensed physical therapist, Sheila is both committed and dedicated to assisting all of her patients obtain the results they strive for and deserve.
